TAXIDERMY
Freeze drying for taxidermy is more common in the USA and New Zealand for preserving game and deceased pets.
With freeze drying, we can preserve whole specimens permanently without damaging their basic structure, so there is far less chance of shrinkage or tissue distortion. Colour, size and features can be retained for an extremely life-like result. Unlike conventional taxidermy there are no chemicals, artificial skin or stitches. The specimen is frozen so it appears more natural and realistic. Suitable for hunting/fishing trophies, museums and collectors.
Suitable Specimens: Birds, Fish, Small reptiles, Small mammals, Game heads (antlers removed)
